State Convention
The 104th Annual American Legion Department of New York Convention will be held in Binghamton this July 13-16, 2022. This will also be the 101st Annual Auxiliary Convention and the 48th Annual SAL Convention. Legion headquarters will be located in the Holiday Inn Arena, Auxiliary headquarters at the DoubleTree, and SAL headquarters at the Quality Inn & Suites Vestal.
The Legion Convention will be held in the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena across the street from the Legion headquarters Holiday Inn Arena Hotel. Convention sessions for the Auxiliary and SAL will be held at their respective headquarters hotels.
Thank You to the American Legion Family for your past support. As you are well aware, in order to host a Convention the magnitude of our organization, it requires an extensive fundraising campaign to support all activities including the sessions, buses and possibly a parade. We hope your Post, Unit, Squadron, Riders.County or District will contribute by purchasing an ad in our Convention Book. All ads will be printed in black and white.
Below is information detailing prices for ads along with a booster sheet. Please copy either if more are needed. Please have your ad print ready, but if not we will place your information in the ad size you request. Print ready formatted ads (pdf/jpeg) can be e-mailed to the e-mail address on the form and your donation sent to our mailing address.
If Covid restrictions or mandates are still in effect at convention time, they must be followed by all members at all convention locations. It is our hope that our convention can take place in the usual tradition. Information on the 2022 Binghamton convention will be posted on the Department and Detachment websites.
